Founding Account Executive
San Francisco Bay Area

We're seeking our first sales hire and looking for a Founding Account Executive to join our early-stage startup. In this role, you'll partner with our CEO, CTO, and founding team to manage the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise clients while helping establish our sales and go-to-market foundation.

A strong candidate will have:

  • Self-starter mentality with comfort and familiarity working in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven track record selling technical products to mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders and manage an end-to-end sales process as well as be able to manage and own those relationships well.
  • Strategic approach to account planning and pipeline development including prospecting and lead generation.
  • Experience in security software/solutions sales.
  • Excitement to shape and scale our go-to-market motion—partnering on messaging, developing customer-facing content, and experimenting with campaigns that drive pipeline and product adoption.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting to close. Helping to build and refine the GTM motion from the ground up.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to shape the sales strategy, messaging, and ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Build early customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor to uncover needs, deliver value, and drive adoption.
  • Create and iterate on sales collateral, playbooks, and processes to lay the foundation for a scalable revenue engine.
  • Provide direct feedback to product and marketing based on customer insights to help shape roadmap and positioning.

We're a seed stage startup disrupting the security space with innovative technology and a strong existing customer base. As our Founding AE you'll make a significant impact in a high-growth environment where your contributions will directly influence our success and trajectory.

Team members can work from whichever office suits them best. Our team all gathers together one day a week on Tuesdays in our San Francisco office on 44 Tehama St.
